Homecoming Week

Crystal Solis, Staff Writer

Homecoming is the week that everyone talks about and looks forward to. After a busy week of twinning, flashing back to the 80’s, and even dressing up as cowboys and cowgirls, we start off with a huge new tradition this year for the Sharyland district. Before the homecoming game, parents ands students came together for a community pep rally/festival and then ended the night off with the burning of the ‘P.’ The festival was considered a big “hoedown” as everyone came together, played games, and even shared school spirit.

On Monday, to show school spirit, the students came to school dressed exactly like their friends.

twin day

On Tuesday, the students dressed up like they did back in the 80’s.

Wednesday, that’s when everyone came together and dressed up like true Texans.

Thursday, the day of the homecoming game against Valley View, everyone dressed up to Diamondback out.

The final day of the week, everyone came dressed up as their favorite superhero.
