FFA CDE’s at State

Three teams from the FFA Career Development Events qualified for State; wool, cotton, and entomology. Wool placed 46th out of 49, Entomology 37th out of 50, and Cotton 46th out of 88. The teams traveled all the way to College Station to compete on Saturday and leave on Sunday.

FFA has had a continuous at State level competitions and represents their school by trying their hardest at competitions.

Caleb Hernandez, Senior, enjoys being a part of the entomology team and making bug puns; “you can catch flies with honey but you can catch more honey’s by being fly.” ┬áCaleb is often entomology’s high point and has been a part of the team since Freshman year.

Congrats to all the students that went to compete at the State level, and those who didn’t make it. Go Diamondbacks!
